Aircraft We Use
Swift Light Fight use the Team Eurostar as the school aircraft and also have access to a Thruster T600N
The Eurostar is an all-metal, low wing aircraft. The type is approved by the CAA as a ready to fly 450 kg microlight.
The Eurostar offers comfort, low noise and a sprightly performance. With a maximum level speed of over 120 mph, and a continuous cruise of over 100 mph on less than 5000 rpm! With its short field capability, climb rate of about 1000 ft/min. and average fuel consumption of around 11 litre/hr.
G-CDNG taxiing for a training flight at Shobdon
The Thruster is a high wing aircraft with a tubular construction covered in a very strong fabric and a glass fibre fuselage. It has a proven history as a good training aircraft, being very robust and forgiving. We have a share in G-UDGE a Rotax 582 powered aircraft.
Great fun to fly.
GT450 flexwing, high performance modern flexwing, an excelent training and touring machine. Microlighting at it's best.
